11 Hours ..

Hmm the only thing that concerned me, at the end of my 11 hour shift was ....

"Muslims can't eat skittles if really religious"

Say what --!!? That really sucks. They can't have anything that contains gelatin, if 'really religious' And so I asked my co-worker, so what makes you really religious and what not? By all the practices and rituals ... hmm ok ...why be religious? So you can get to heaven. So what determines your level of religiousness? Is there a guarantee that you'll get to heaven? His answer: "No."

That kinda sucks, not knowing if you've done enough to be accepted. How religious can you get? I would think it'd be endless stress and worry ....... and to think people concentrate on the 'doing' so much, there is no relationship.

Glad I don't have to go through that!

Also, when I get home, I turn on the TV, and there's this special feature from Barbara Walters ... on "Heaven: Where is it?" It was actually REALLY good. She went to almost all religions or spiritual people and asked around ...
Anyone else see it?

Christian's can't drink if they're really religious.

Or they'll be looked down upon by other very religious Christians.

Mmm but which is judged? The act of drinking? Or the actions that result from drinking?

new shaunmac myspace songs (usual link location - plus haven't heard them but not surprised if they're only song clips...)

if you're an ituneser, he's posted "free the EP" that he says "has the song "free" from ripen and a song that got cut from simply nothing called sorry. and a live recording of take my hand."

plus you probably already know this, but reliantK's coming to machall. can't get away from it - read about it in dose two days ago (grabbed one from those hander-outers at the train station at school cuz i've experience the rejection of hundreds when working for them downtown during stampede week - didn't grab one today cuz the girls were having enough fun talking with each other, plus they were good looking/fashionable so i figure they'd get enough people to approach them), ran into a friend on the bus yesterday who's going, and it's in the campus crusade midweek update email. my friend was saying that it costs about 24 dollars all together from the service fees and taxes ontop of the 17-something price. i'm too poor and i don't really know their stuff (their showmanship/stage presence in the one live performance of "be my escape" on jimmy kimmel's outdoor summer concert stage didn't really impress me much...) so probably won't be going.
