WHAT THE - ?

What in the world ?!?!!?

http://cbs5.com/topstories/local_story_326014939.html

Supposedly, from watching the video, the guy who does maitenance on the church saw the tears rolling down her face 8:30am in the morning, and when he went to go touch the streams of , they were still wet!!?

That's a little freaky.
But no offense, what's even more freaky is just seeing how much these people worship Mary ... hmmm. Like an idol, really.

Hey, I remember posting something else about "Mary" in some one of my early early blog post about white shadow stains? what's up with all this?!

Yup, some sects of Catholicism have totally gone wack in who they worship, but you can blame that on their history.

I bash them a lot jokingly, but there does exist some Catholics who truly love God.

Hey Tobi, it's been a while... No one I know has had any contact with you since you 'upgraded' from Engineering. I just thought I'd leave a comment on your page and wish you well. So, hopefully things are going well for you, and you had an awesome semester. Merry Christmas too! Oh yeah, and miracles are awesome.

word up, havok!

plus i liked what tom from westside king's said about the four rules of biblical interpretation being bible, tradition, reason, and theology. and i caught that from a sermon about heaven and hell where he deconstructed a lot of views about the two of them, especially hell - trippy stuff.

cuz after luther protested against the catholic church, tradition is practically nonexistant in a lot of protestant flavors.

for example there are the people (e.g. some "tulip" calvinists) who are against the emergent church cuz they advocate "sola scriptura" - a.k.a. 'scripture only'. maybe they've thrown out the baby with the bathwater, so to speak.

although it is true that tradition shouldn't be the front and center thing, cuz that's exactly why luther protested.

but i still think there's a lot of tradition, etc. that we can learn from our catholic brothers and sisters. plus their monastic stuff is really catching on and getting more attention lately.

(caveat: i don't speak from experience, i'm pretty much just regurgitating what i've heard from pastors here and there - having grown up in a really "evangelical" background, i am uncomfortable with some things in the catholic church like how mary is pretty much worshipped, plus all the worshipfication/idolification of saints and apostles, etc.)
