wow! congrats Jackie to your baptismal, I really enjoyed the service!I totally concur with what was talked about today - about tithing and about the wake-up call about the Mormons who build churches just because they get a lot of the 'mandatory' tithing they get from their people. Really, what an advantage they get in that, even though the tithing isn't true from the heart and genuinely given, yadda yadda. But if WE as Christians invest more into eternity rather than temporary things, imagine all the lives we could reach to? It's not a competition or a question about quantity, of course not! But it's a good time to reflect and really evaluate our lives - are we recklessly splurging? Are we being wise stewards with what we have? Hmmm ... wow God spoke to me today nice and good.
Missed out cheesecake today ... meh, I think I wouldn't enjoy eating at a place I used to work at .. *shudder* The people that work there and I ......... don't mesh in well.
Not much to babble about today .....
Just would like to say this though,

Yay, you're freed up now ... I'm waiting until that next thursday ...
and then after that, no more university for me for awhile ;)

It depends. I love going back to Pelican Pier, and Lyndsey, my old boss'll even give me the usual staff discount.
But yeah... I'll never go back to Nicks. I hate that place.
